Calculate Annual Assessment Prepayment Amount

Important: Annual Assessments are due 30 days after the date on the invoice and are always billed one year in arrears. The purpose of this page is to assist those residents who want to calculate the amount to pre-pay a future year's assessment, not one that is already due. For example, the invoice covering the year 2017 won’t be sent until January of 2018. The time to start planning for the 2018 invoice is January of 2017. This is only a suggestion meant to assist residents with future budgeting. Residents are NOT required to pre-pay assessments.

To calculate your annual assessment into 12 payments, enter the total amount of your annual assessment in dollars and cents. Do not include the "$" sign. Click "Calculate" and the amount you need to pre-pay per month will be displayed in the box. Example: If your annual assessment is $805.12, enter 805.12 in the box. Don't know your annual assessment amount? Look at last year's invoice, call the office at 614-889-0922 or contact us. Note: you must have Javascript enabled in order for this page to work. Most browsers and phones will have it enabled by default.

Enter annual assessment amount here and click ""Calculate" one time: $
The amount displayed is the amount to pre-pay each month.

Disclaimer: Your annual assessment amount is based on the fair market value placed on your property by the county auditor. The rate is $2.20 per $1,000 of value. The county reassesses the value of properties every three years. At that time, your assessment may go up, may go down, or may stay the same based on the auditor's new value. If you have pre-paid your assessment and your property value rises, you will receive an invoice for the difference between the old assessment and new assessment, minus the amount you've already paid. If you have pre-paid and your value decreases, we will apply the remainder to the following year's assessment or you may request a refund.
