Roads

ALERT:Police chased a stolen car into Gullane Ct. in Muirfield late this afternoon, recovered the car and arrested the suspect. The excitement is over, it is safe to be outside, on the paths, walking home from the school bus.

ROADS:The first phase of the Muirfield Drive repaving is near completion with the replacement of curbs. The orange barrels will go away, but only until mid-September, when they will return for milling [grinding down] the surface and repaving. Stay tuned for updates.

Beginning August 12, 2019, work will begin on the Deer Run Sewer Upsizing – Dumfries Court Hydraulic Disconnect improvements. Crews will build a new sanitary sewer from the Glick Road Pool area, down Carnoustie Drive to Dumfries Court East. All work will be performed in the public right of way. Lane restrictions will be necessary on Glick Road, Carnoustie Drive and Dumfries Court East in phases throughout the project. Any traffic impacts will be provided on this web page. These improvements are expected to be completed by the end of September.

Brand, Hyland-Croy, and Ashbaugh, will be next to undergo this two-step dance.

Tonight at 9 pm, Wednesday, August 14, the intersection of Hyland–Croy Road and Glacier Ridge Boulevard will be closed between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. for approximately two weeks for the curb replacement phase.

John Shields Parkway eastbound will be closing Monday, August 12, for approximately four weeks. Drivers may take Tuller Road or Bridge Park Avenue as alternate routes. Westbound traffic will not be impacted. The eastbound lane closure is necessary for roadway improvements related to the Bridge Park development taking place just south of John Shields Parkway.
