MUIRFIELD ALERT: MARCH 6, 2016
ALERT: Carnoustie Drive Closed March 6-10; Pathway Closed at Tunnel Until May 19
Notice from the City of Dublin:
Carnoustie Drive will close to all vehicle (car and truck) traffic – at the tunnel location – between 7 AM and 7 PM, the entire week of March 6 to March 10, 2017. At night, Carnoustie Drive will be open to vehicle traffic at the tunnel location. During the day, at the tunnel location, Carnoustie Drive will be closed to vehicle traffic to allow the contractor to perform major work on the tunnel.
The pedestrian tunnel (Muirfield path) will be closed on Monday morning, March 6 and remain closed until May 19, 2017.The City of Dublin will be removing the existing retaining walls and constructing new retaining walls and guardrail at the tunnel entrances.
