Election 2022 Update

Election update: Some years ago a few local elected officials remarked that many residents in Muirfield did not vote. The implication was that we should have minimal influence on policy-making in Dublin, even though at that time we comprised 20% of the population of Dublin. Hearing those comments, the Muirfield Civic Action Committee (CAC) decided to do more to encourage our residents to vote in each election -- primary, general, and special elections. Since that time, the CAC has been providing information on local candidates and on issues on the ballot.

Despite all of the confusion around this year's primary election, Ohio is still set to have an election on May 3 and early voting starts today, Tuesday, April 5. Ohio House, Ohio Senate, and State Central Committee races will not appear on the May primary ballots due to Ohio Supreme Court's March invalidation of the redistricting plan proposed by the Ohio General Assembly. A later election date for those races has yet to be set. May primary election important dates
