All of the Association's governing documents are available for viewing online. The Association strongly recommends that potential residents become familiar with the following documents before purchasing a home in Muirfield Village.
Declaration (Warranty Deed)
The Declaration (also referred to as the Warranty Deed) is the backbone of the Muirfield Village community. It is a legal instrument that governs Muirfield's restrictions and design standards. Potential residents should pay particular attention to Sections 7 and 8.
Property Handbook
The Muirfield Village Property Handbook is a straightforward approach to property regulations. The property handbook can be downloaded as a PDF document or read onscreen. The onscreen method is recommended for reading on tablets and phones.

Property Policies
The Muirfield Property Policies are the rules and regulations enacted by the Muirfield Association to maintain property values and the quality of life in Muirfield Village. These policies can be found in Section 4 of the Property Handbook. It is unnecessary to use the following link if you've already read section 4 of the Property Handbook.
Design Review Section
Guidelines and applications for nearly every conceivable property change can be found in the Design Review section. Applications are in alphabetic order. Each application will detail what information and/or materials need to be submitted with the request.

By Laws
The By-Laws are the operational procedures that govern the Board of Directors. They outline the rules for board actions and by which meetings are conducted.
Articles of Incorporation
The Articles of Incorporation define how the Muirfield Association was formed. All residents are automatically members of Muirfield Association, Inc., by virtue of their residency.
