Concord Township Legal Notice

Concord Township has provided the following legal notice to the Muirfield Association regarding the potential rezoning of property adjacent to Muirfield Village. For questions regarding this application, please note the contact information at the end of the announcement.

The Concord Township Zoning Commission will hold a Public Meeting at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Concord Township Administrative Building located at 6385 Home Road, Delaware, Ohio, 43015.

The purpose of the Public Meeting is to consider an application, designated as ZC042014, filed by Epcon Communities of 500 Stonehenge Parkway, Dublin, OH, 43017. The application is a proposed amendment to the Concord Township Zoning Resolution. The applicant is requesting approval of a preliminary development plan referred to as The Courtyards at Manley Road to rezone 9.61 +/- acres on Manley Road, owned by The Kroger Company, Parcel #60033404032000 and Parcel #60033404033000 and Parcel #60033404034000 from Farm Residential District (FR-1) to Planned Residential District (PRD).

The application is available for public review during normal business hours at the Ostrander Branch of the Delaware County District Library, 75 North Fourth Street, Ostrander, Ohio 43061 and on the Concord Township Website.

After the conclusion of the Public Meeting, the matter will be submitted to the Concord Township Board of Trustees for review and action.

The BZC will conduct a Business Meeting immediately following the Public Meeting for the purpose of completing any outstanding action items from previous meetings.

As an adjoining property owner, Concord Township is required to inform you of this meeting to provide you an opportunity to express your questions and/or concerns to the Concord Township Board of Zoning Commission.

Association Office Thanksgiving Schedule

The Association office will be closed this Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. The office will reopen on Monday, December 1 at 8:00 a.m.

Parade Workshop

Have you and your neighbors ever thought of entering a float in the City of Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Day and/or Independence Day parades?

If so, the City of Dublin would like to invite you to attend its annual Parade Workshop on Tuesday, January 6 at 6 p.m. at the Dublin Community Recreation Center Abbey Theater.

You will learn how to create an award winning parade entry that meets the City of Dublin “entertainment value” guidelines.  You will also discover new ways to be creative on a limited budget, where to purchase unique supplies and get advice from expert Rick Benning.  Rick is owner of Ambience Events, the company that designed The City of Dublin’s President Cup float featured in Dublin’s parades.

In addition, you will be entered to win one of two parade packages valued at $250 each for use in the City of Dublin’s 2015 St. Patrick’s Day and Independence Day parades!  

So, gather your neighbors and get ready to get creative! It would be great to see Muirfield Village represented in Dublin's parades!

Traffic and Speed Survey Results

The City of Dublin has posted the results of traffic and speed surveys from November 2014 back to 2012. A summary of all StealthStat deployments is listed on the City of Dublin’s website at http://dublinohiousa.gov/dublin-police/trafficspeed-survey-results-by-stealthstats/. A number of Muirfield areas and were monitored and are listed by street name or intersection.

The Dublin Division of Police use speed-measuring devices called StealthStats, which monitor traffic volume, average speed, high speeds and low speeds of roadways throughout the City. The results are used to help the Division prioritize enforcement and other responsive efforts as well as educate the public.
