Fishing at Muirfield Village

Did you know Muirfield Village has 12 Association-owned lakes, fully stocked with fish? Residents can enjoy a relaxing time catching crappie, catfish, large-mouth bass, and blue gill.

Eli Vilkinofsky of Muirfield Village recently caught this huge catfish in the lake by the Holbrook pool. It weighed around 10 pounds!

Lakes are for the exclusive use of Muirfield residents and their guests only. Fishers need to take all equipment and trash home at the end of their visit. Ducks and geese have been injured when their legs were tangled in fishing line left behind. Abandoned 6-pack rings can catch on animals’ necks. Out of respect for your neighbors, please do not enter anyone's yard.

Since the lakes are privately owned, residents are not required to hold an Ohio fishing license. View a map showing the lake’s locations. Fishing lakes are colored in blue on the map.

Cut and Split Firewood for Sale

The Muirfield Association is again pleased to offer cut and split firewood for sale to Muirfield residents. The fall season is just around the corner, so get your name on the list for this year’s deliveries!

Wood Cost

The cost is $100 for a half cord and $190 for a full cord. Cost includes delivery of the wood and stacking in an appropriate location on your property. Wood must be paid for at the time of delivery by either check or cash.

A full cord of wood measures four feet high by four feet wide by eight feet long (4 ft. x 4 ft. x 8 ft.) Likewise, a half cord measures 4 x 4 x 4 feet.

Delivery Location

Wood must be stacked at the rear of the house or an area screened so it is not visible from the street or an eyesore to neighboring properties.

The delivery area must be easily accessible by wheelbarrow. If extra handling is needed, there will be an extra cost. An example may be if you request us to stack the wood on a deck, which would require staff to hand-carry wood up stairs. Please let us know if hand carrying would be necessary at the time you place your order.

Quantity

Residents may request up to one cord of wood at a time. If a larger quantity is desired, you may submit a second order after your first order has been delivered and you have had a chance to use some wood. We have a lot of firewood, so the chances of getting a second or third load is very good.

Most properties in Muirfield cannot accommodate more than one cord of wood at a time and still keep the wood screened from views. Please keep this in mind when ordering additional wood.

Delivery Timing

Delivery of firewood generally begins in late October. We will call you before delivery to verify stacking instructions.

How to Order

To request firewood, either order online in the Members Area, email info@muirfieldassociation.com, or contact the office at 614-889-0922. If emailing or calling, you will need to provide us with the following information:

Providing a good contact phone number is critical. If we are unable to reach you by phone for delivery and stacking instructions, we will contact the next person on the list. All orders are on a first come, first served basis.

If you have questions, please email info@muirfieldassociation.com or contact the office at 614-889-0922.

Architect Appointments Available

Are you planning updates to your home or landscaping this fall or would you like to get a jump start on spring planning? Time slots for both Richard Taylor, Architect, and John Reiner, Landscape Architect, are still available! There is no cost for this one-hour consultation.

Read more about this program and request a visit in the Members Area, contact Sandy at the Association office at 614-889-0922 or email sandy@muirfieldassociation.com.

IRS Scam Calls

The Muirfield Association is pleased to pass on this information from the Dublin Police Department:

Some Dublin residents have reported getting calls from "IRS" or "treasury agents" telling them they have overdue taxes and must pay or be arrested. This is a scam. Do not give them any money or personal information. Call the Dublin Police at (614) 889-1112 to report this if you get a call.

Please pass this information on to your neighbors who do not have email.
