Holbrook Pool Will Be Closed Monday, August 22, 2016
The Holbrook pool, hot tub, and sprayground
will be closed today, Monday, August 22 as a precautionary measure.
Recently, Dublin City pools and splashground were closed due to potential cryptosporidium (crypto) problems.
Although there have been no cases of any illnesses reported to us and the
health department did not find any problems last week,
we have chosen to close the pool for hyperchlorination.
We have absolutely no reason
whatsoever to believe cryptosporidium (crypto)
is a problem at the pool.
The pool is being closed for precautionary
The pool will reopen on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.
Muirfield Association would like to remind all patrons of the following guidelines that apply to the pool, hot tub and sprayground:
Keep anyone who is sick at home. Please do not bring them to the pool.
Do not allow anyone to swim or use the splash pad or hot tub when they have diarrhea and for two weeks after the person has recovered.
Do not urinate or defecate in the water.
Take a shower/bath before going in the water.
Wash hands with soap and water after using the bathroom.
Change diapers in a bathroom and not by the pool.
Take kids on frequent bathroom breaks and check diapers often (hourly is suggested).
Avoid swallowing any water and keep it out of your mouth.
Only swim diapers are permitted. Regular diapers are prohibited. Swim diapers are sold at the front desk of the pool.
