Dublin asks residents to help track mangy foxes

A red fox with mange was spotted in Dublin this week. If you see one do not be alarmed - they are not looking to harm people or pets. The best way to help is to leave them alone and report when and where you saw it here: http://dublinohiousa.gov/request/nuisance-wildlife/. The infected foxes look almost hairless, making their ears look bigger.

The City is currently tracking four of these foxes in hopes of treating them with medication. Mange is caused by parasites that irritate the skin, leading to hair loss. Learn more about foxes here: http://dublinohiousa.gov/fox.
