As you plan for yard maintenance this spring, please remember
that bagged or bulk mulch cannot be stored on the exterior of
the property for an indefinite period of time. Plan your
delivery so that the mulch can be distributed within a couple
of days, weather permitting. In the past, we have unfortunately
seen bagged mulch laying in lawns and landscape beds much
longer than necessary. Mulch stored outside longer than a
week without actively working with it will be subject to a deed
violation notice. We appreciate your desire to create a lovely,
manicured lawn; we appreciate your cooperation!
As spring arrives, we have seen lacrosse, soccer and other sports
equipment and nets popping up all over Muirfield Village.
If not planned for, these brightly-colored frames can be quite a
distraction to the property and neighborhood.
Locating a sports net in your yard requires some forethought and planning.
The Design Control Committee has recently made accommodation for
permanently placing these nets in your yard; however, there are
requirements for getting their location approved. It's not difficult
and will keep your property in good standing with the deed and design restrictions.
To gain approval for exterior storage of sports equipment:
Submit a site plan of your property, (in this case, hand-drawn site plans are acceptable)
drawing in the location and showing the dimensions of the sports net;
Identify all existing trees or large shrubs that will screen the unit from street
and neighboring views (a good example of required screening is attached to the online application);
Identify the trees/tall shrubs that will be planted to screen the equipment from
street and neighboring views. An adequate number and size to screen the equipment is necessary;
Identify the length of time the net will be located (will it will be removed during
the winter months?);
Provide your written commitment that all netting and support framework will be
kept in good condition at all times; frame and netting must be intact, upright and regularly maintained.
The Association office will be open the following after-hours
times to issue photo ID cards:
Thursday, April 16 until 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cards are also issued any business day between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Turnaround time is only 3 minutes per card!
If you already had a Muirfield photo ID card issued,
you do not need to have a new photo taken this year.
The office still has a large number of cards from last season.
If you never picked up your finished card, an adult family member
may pick up cards for the entire household.
If you have lost your card, there is a $10 replacement fee.
