Join us Wednesday at the Annual Meeting
The Country Club at Muirfield Village will host our annual meeting this Wednesday, April 20.
This year’s meeting starts earlier than in previous years. Complimentary appetizers and a cash bar will be available from 6:30 – 7:00 pm. The business meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.
We hope to see you at the meeting!
Watch for Slow Moving Vehicles
While driving on Muirfield’s streets, motorists can expect to encounter slow moving vehicles, especially during the busy spring season. Our maintenance staff transports mowing equipment, tools and supplies daily from the maintenance facility to the outer boundaries of the village. These ‘trucksters’ are not designed to travel at typical highway speeds – most of our maintenance vehicles travel at speeds of 15-20 miles per hour.
Last week, there was a collision between a truckster and an automobile on a major Muirfield street, causing injuries to two of our maintenance workers. The motorist was cited and the two men were taken to a local hospital.
Because our workers will be on the streets daily, the Association office is asking that all Muirfield motorists use caution when approaching the slow-moving vehicles. We try to limit the amount of time and distance that is needed to travel on the major streets, but to get to all the outer areas of the village, the trucksters must use the streets, too.
Please slow down and give them space to share the road.
