Dublin's beautiful new pedestrian, bike, scooter and skateboard bridge opened yesterday, I drove by after dark, about 9:15 pm, and the large "needle" that supports the structure was bathed in emerald green light to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, with white lights on the underside of the bridge, and a procession of white lights along the railing on both sides. Worth a drive-by when you are getting cabin fever. Truly a new icon for the City!
If you stop for gas or anything else, I suggest bringing along a newspaper plastic sleeve or a paper towel to use over your hand to avoid directly touching the pump mechanisms. Stay safe.
