The ponds around Muirfield Village and those on the neighboring golf courses are not safe for playing ice hockey or ice skating! The ponds
are retention basins and are subject to unnoticed fluctuations of water depth. This makes the ice very unstable and unsafe. Signs
are posted reminding folks that swimming, skating and boating is not permitted on the lakes.
Both children and adults have been seen on the ponds this week. When we are alerted, we make every effort to remind people to stay away
from the ponds. Let's all do our part to avoid unnecessary accidents - PLEASE STAY OFF THE ICE!
The Association has become aware that residents have placed reflective sticks and/or boulders along the edge of the roadway in their
yards. These pose a danger to cyclists, motorists, delivery trucks, and snowplows.
Residents should be aware that these items are in the city right of way. If damage occurs to a person, motorist or equipment, the resident
can be held personally responsible for the damages. Please remove these obstacles from the city right of way.

Free Architectural Services Available
There is still time to take advantage of the Association’s Architectural Services. In 2010, the Board of Directors introduced a
service to our residents when they hired local architect, Mr. Richard Taylor, and local landscape architect, Mr. John Reiner. Since then,
these two men have been busy meeting with residents, listening to ideas, answering questions, and providing guidance and expertise for
those anticipated interior and exterior home improvement projects. Rich and John are both familiar with the Association’s design
standards and Dublin’s building requirements so it is time well spent, and they come to you! We’ve received many favorable
responses from residents who’ve taken the opportunity and found satisfaction with our team.
The men will meet with you on-site, up to one hour, free of charge, to assist you in planning your home improvement goals. They are not
responsible for creating renderings or scaled drawings; rather they will offer direction on materials, finishes, colors and site
dimensions so you can accomplish your project while meeting Dublin’s requirements and following Muirfield’s design
Winter is a good time to take a look around and explore ways to increase your home’s livability and secure your property values. If
you are interested in having Rich or John visit with you to explore ideas for home improvement/property value enhancement projects,
contact Sandy at the Association office at 614-889-0922 or email
