MUIRFIELD eNEWS: JANUARY 26, 2017

Happy New Year! In this issue:

Annual Assessment Invoices

Annual Assessment invoices are tentatively scheduled to be mailed and emailed during the week of February 6, 2017.

If you are not on electronic communications, watch your mailbox starting February 6.

If you have signed up for electronic communications, please watch your inbox and spam carefully starting February 6. If you do not receive your invoice in email or spam by February 10, please contact the Association office.

If you have changed your email address in the past year, please reply to this email with your new information no later than January 31.

Invoices are due 30 days after the date on the invoice. The Association office accepts checks, money orders, and cash.

Update 2/2/17: At this time, credit cards are not accepted for Annual Assessment payments. We apologize for the inconvenience and recommend utilizing your bank's online bill pay program.

Did you know most banks will let you pay your invoice online through their bill pay program for free? This can save you time, a stamp, and a trip to the mailbox in winter weather! Check with your bank to see how easy their program is. There are no fees from Muirfield Association to pay using this method!

Applications Being Accepted for Board of Directors

Interested in becoming more involved in your Muirfield Village community? Submit an application to serve on the Board of Directors!

The nine members of the Board of Directors serve three-year terms and are responsible for setting policies pertaining to the Muirfield Declaration, By-Laws, and Articles of Incorporation. Save the Date! Muirfield Association Annual Meeting

The date for the Muirfield Association annual meeting has been set for Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at The Country Club at Muirfield Village. The business meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

The exact schedule is to be announced, so please stay tuned to our website and eNews for upcoming details!

Winter Street Parking

With winter weather coming and going on and off, conditions can range from dry pavement to slippery and snowy.

Even under ideal weather conditions, it can be very difficult to safely pull out of some driveways in our beautiful village. If snow, ice, freezing rain or other slippery conditions exist, it can become even more difficult, especially if another vehicle is parked directly across the street.

As a courtesy to neighbors, please consider asking contractors and guests visiting your home to park in your driveway or at least not directly across from another driveway whenever possible. This will not only allow your neighbors to back out more safely, but will keep the street clear for snow plows and emergency vehicles. Additionally, guests can greatly reduce the risk of damage to their vehicle by parking it off-street during less than ideal conditions.

Nearly all streets in Muirfield Village are public streets. Nuisance vehicles (those that have been parked in the same location without being moved for a long period or those with expired tags, flat tires, or other obvious mechanical problems) should be reported to the police on their non-emergency number at 614-889-1112.

Holiday Cleanup

As a reminder, all holiday decorations that were displayed at Christmas should have been removed no later than two weeks after the holiday. If you have any remaining decorations on the exterior of your home or property, please remove them now.

If you still need to dispose of your live tree, the City of Dublin will make one final collection this Monday, January 30. Read more on the city’s website.
